The strategy began with upgrading Sitecore infrastructure and migrating to Azure Kubernetes Service for scalability. Sitecore CDP and Personalize were integrated to unify customer data, allowing the delivery of real-time, behavior-based content. A three-stage approach, planning, building, and optimizing ensured that personalization was not just launched but continually refined. Parallel deployment enabled faster value realization by capturing insights early, while A/B testing and segment-based targeting drove continuous campaign improvements.

Background

In today’s digital-first landscape, PulteGroup saw a clear need to evolve its online customer experience to meet homebuyers’ rising expectations. The goal wasn’t just showcasing homes, it was creating a personalized, guided journey from first visit to final purchase. With multiple data sources and platforms, the challenge was to centralize data and use it to deliver relevant, timely experiences.

We began by upgrading Pulte Group’s tech stack, migrating to Sitecore 10.2 and AKS, and integrating Sitecore CDP and Personalize. This allowed for unified data handling, real-time content delivery, and enhanced customer insights. The process followed a three-phase strategy: aligning goals and KPIs, building the technical infrastructure, and continuously measuring and optimizing results.

By embedding tracking code early and leveraging parallel deployment, we could gather historical personalization data even before full implementation. This accelerated time-to-value and helped fine-tune audience segmentation and content strategies. Sitecore’s tools enabled seamless integration with external systems like CRM, supported A/B testing, and fostered smarter engagement tactics.

The impact has been transformative. Customers now receive relevant property suggestions, timely messages, and intuitive user journeys, resulting in better engagement, more conversions, and smarter marketing decisions.
